Getting started with InterHelper

Initial Setup

  1. Create an accountSign up or log in on the InterHelper website and purchase tokens
  2. Download the InterHelper applicationYou can download the application from our website
  3. Install the applicationInstall the application on your device
  4. Launch and sign inLaunch the application and sign in with your account
  5. Configure Audio Input (How InterHelper Listens)InterHelper needs to hear the interviewer's voice. Choose one of the following methods inside the application settings.

    Option A: Screen Share (Recommended & Simplest)

    This method listens to the audio directly from your meeting window.

    How it works:

    You will be prompted to share a specific application window (e.g., your Zoom, Google Meet, Entire Screen, or Microsoft Teams call) with InterHelper.

    Best for:

    A quick, easy setup with no additional software required.

    Option B: System Audio / Audio Mixer (Advanced)

    This method captures all audio output from your computer.

    How it works:

    This requires setting up a virtual audio device (often called an Audio Mixer or Loopback device) that routes your computer's sound as an input.

    Best for:

    Users who prefer not to use screen sharing or have custom audio setups.

  6. Final ConfigurationIf you chose screen sharing, you're all set! For those using a loopback device, please select it from the audio device (Audio Mixer) dropdown in the application's settings.
